Well, fellow PC gamers, I hope you’ve got your Astroglide handy because it’s time to take another one up the rear thanks to our console counterparts.
IGN reports today that Bioware’s epic new RPG, Dragon Age: Origins, is having its PC release date delayed until the second half of 2009 to coincide with its release on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC version of the game was originally thought to be scheduled for a March shipping date, but it looks like we’re going to have to wait for a simultaneous multi-platform release. No reason was provided for the delay, so it’s safe to say that it is largely a marketing decision, which does not bode well for PC users who already fear that they’re going to get a dumbed-down version of the game for the sake of console compatibility.
